5.2 Using Ekip Bluetooth-module

The Ekip Bluetooth module allows con-
nection via Bluetooth between the auto-
matic transfer switch and a support de-
vice (PC, tablet, or smart phone) with the
Ekip Connect software installed. Ekip
Bluetooth -module is suitable to use with
all ZTG(D) 30-1200 A, 200-480 Vac auto-
matic transfer switches.

The Ekip bluetooth module draws its
power from a rechargeable lithium-poly-
mer battery supplied with the unit. It is
connected directly to the programming
port (see Fig. 5.6) powers the controller
without the need for auxiliary voltage
supply. The programming port is only
compatible for use with Ekip Bluetooth
and Ekip Programming -modules.
Notice
Ekip Bluetooth only powers the main control-
ler board (HMI and external modules ex-
cluded). Therefore, in order to identify all con-
nected parts with Ekip Connect, the auxiliary
power supply module, type OXEA1, must be
used (see chapter 5.4).

5.2.1 LED indications

Ekip Bluetooth -module is switched on by
pressing the power button on the side,
and is equipped with two LEDs:
• The first LED illuminates in green with
the device on and the battery charge,
red with the device turned on and low
battery.
• The second LED flashes blue with active
Bluetooth communication.
