The following table illustrates the possi-
ble signals, and their meaning:

5.6.2.2 Termination resistor
The Ekip Com Profibus DP modules pro-
vide the possibility to insert a 220 Ω ter-
mination resistor on the RS-485 bus, by
setting the DIP-switches Rterm (1 and 2)
on the side of the modules, in position
ON.

In the event of termination of the bus, a
390 Ω pull-up or pull-down resistor must
also be inserted on the lines, by setting
the DIP-switches Rpol (3 and 4), in posi-
tion ON.
These options must be selected before in-
stallation of the modules.
