8.3

Detailed settings

To turn on the unit, press the "power" button. The indicator lights up and the device automatically
performs a self-test. After the test is completed, the air sampler automatically switches to the
central user interface. To specify the settings, press the "menu" button:

Setting the measuring volume: See point 8.1 of the operating instructions. Set volumes from 10
to 6000 liters in increments of 10 mm.

Setting measurement time delay: See point 8.1 of the operating instructions. The delay time
can be set between 0 and 256 seconds in intervals of one second.

Setting the place to store the measured values: See point 8.1 of the operating
instructions. Storage code of the readings goes from 00 up 99.

Saving the reading settings: See point 8.1 of the operating instructions. Note: Select with the
arrow buttons "Yes" and confirm this with "Select." If "No" is selected, this is not confirmed.

Select Start, then select Saved Group, select Start again, Saved Group will flash, press Start
and Select group, then Start to begin measuring with new settings.

Deleting the measurement settings: Use the arrow keys to determine whether measurement
settings are to be deleted. To the confirm deletion, use the "Select" button. Note: When this
is done, all settings will be deleted.

Setting the backlight timing: The timing of the backlight has a range of 0 to 256 seconds and
can be set to intervals of one second. To set the cursor position, use the "Select" button. Press
the "down" button around the time of the backlight setting. To confirm, use the "Menu" button or
the "Select" button.
Setting the time on the device: Press the "Select" button to change cursor position. Then use the

"down" button to set the correct time. Press the "Menu" or "Exit" button to apply the setting. The
same process applies to setting the date and system language.

Deleting the data: Use the arrow keys until the desired action on the display can be seen. By
pressing the "select" button, the deletion is confirmed. Note: When this is done, all measurement
data will be deleted.

General information

According to the requirements of the GMP ("good manufacturing practice") a suitable plank table-
microbial medium must be chosen and prepared well on the plate. A right bracket must be used to
determine a point above the plate. Also, the temperature of the dish must be appropriate at the
start of the measurement.
