6. Configuration

There are four DIP switches and two potentiometers
to adjust the TOF/Taxi according to the application.
Use a small screw driver and carefully adjust the
settings.
NOTICE
Mechanical damage to the TOF/Taxi
Do not turn the potentiometers beyond
their mechanical limits.
6.1 DIP switch 1 – Mounting position
The TOF/Taxi can be mounted on the right or left
side of a door, facing downward. The left or right
mounting position is set using DIP switch 1.
Important: Whether the mounting position is above
the leading or the hinge edge of the door is irrelevant
to the setting of DIP switch 1.

6.2 DIP switch 2 – Number of active rows
The detection area of the TOF/Taxi consists of
three rows of IR beams ( Figure 8 for details).
DIP switch 2 activates either only the row nearest to
the door (Row 1) or all 3 rows.
