You will use a wireless pendant to establish the signature that makes up the wireless map of your facility. Fingerprinting can be done
with any wireless pendant (WPT501). You will first specify a location in your facility that you would like to fingerprint. The button on
the pendant will then be pressed from multiple areas at that location. The same steps will done be for each location you would like to
add to your wireless map. AlphaECall™ 200 will store all these "Fingerprints" from various locations and they will be used to identify
where a pendant is located when an emergency call is placed.
Depending on how precise you want the accuracy of location finding to be you can create more locations in the Wireless Map area to
be more specific or less locations to just get a general idea of where a pendant is located when it is alarmed.
The accuracy of your location will depend on how many finger prints are created for a specific location and the types of orientations
used. Too few may leave dead spots the will not match the wireless map.
Removing or moving a repeater invalidates all finger print information. If a repeater is moved or removed, you will need to repeat
the fingerprinting procedure. Adding a repeater may or may not affect existing fingerprints. If a repeater is added, your locations will
need to be tested.
