» Connecting the aeC200dm master to a network
For the AlphaECall™ 200 Series Desk or Wall Master (AEC200DM) to function properly it must be wired to a local network. To connect
a network cable to the AEC200DM you must open up the Master to plug it into the network jack located inside the housing. There
are three small Phillips head screws on each side of the Master that will need to be take out to remove the bottom plate from the
Master housing. Please see the following images to make sure you remove the correct screws.
Before performing any of these steps, you MUST unplug the Master from its power source!!

Once the six screws are take out, carefully remove the bottom plate from the Master. After the bottom plate is removed, feed a
network cable through one of the circular openings in the bottom plate and then plug the cable into the location shown in the
following image.
Then after the network cable has been plugged in, carefully place the bottom plate of the housing back on the master, being sure not
to crimp any wires or cables. Finally, screw the six screws back into place.

The main purpose of the Master User Interface is to display emergency calls that come from devices connected to the AlphaECall™
200 system. Calls are displayed in a list. The calls are sorted by priority as well as the date and time they were placed. The highest
priuority call and then newest calls will be at the top of the list. Each call will be displayed on a separate line. Each line will indicate
the following:
The type of input device that was used to place the call.
