The emergency call devices connect to the bus through ECI333's. Each ECI333 can connect to any location on the bus and has a
unique address setup on it. This address gets programmed to a specific resident (programming is explain in the System Configuration
chapter). Every ECI333 has two separate dry contact inputs on it (S1 and S2) that can be used for emergency calls. You can connect
any type of dry contact device to the S1 and S2 inputs.
The ECI333 also has a relay that can be activated when an emergency call has been placed. This relay can be used to activate a dome
light, strobe light, siren, horn, or anything that can be turned on and off from a low-voltage relay. The relay has 4 different options.
Fast toggle - can be used to flash a dome light quickly for higher priority calls.
Slow toggle - can be used to flash a dome light slowly for lower priority calls.
Solid (closed) state - can be used to turn a dome light on for a specified number of seconds or left on until a latching device is
reset.
