TROUBLE SHOOTING
The AgriMetal Leaf and Debris Collector is a large portable compartment with a rotor for picking up trash
and debris. It is a simple system that requires minimal maintenance.
In the following Trouble Shooting section, we have listed many of the problems, causes and solutions that
can help you to solve the problems that you might encounter.
If you encounter a problem that is difficult to solve, even after having read through this trouble shooting
section, please call your local distributor or dealer. Before you call, please have this Operator's Manual
and the serial number of your machine at hand.
PROBLEM
No trash is being picked up.
Machine vibrates.
Scalping turf.
Motor pulls down.
CAUSE
No suction.
Plugged blower/ducts.
Pluggedchopper/ducts.
Screen plugged.
Pick-Up head to high.
Chopper out of balance.
Blower out of balance.
Loose pulley.
Blower worn out.
Debris tangled in blower.
Debris tangled in chopper.
Debris tangled in brush.
Machine stopped.
Machine to low.
Low suction.
SOLUTION
Loose blower belt. Set belt ten-
sion.
Loose chooper belt. Set belt
tension.
Compartment full. Empty ma-
chine.
Unplug blower and ducts.
Unplug chopper and ducts
Clean screen.
Lower hitch clevis and pick-up
head.
Stop machine. Inspect chopper.
Repair or replace as required.
Stop machine. Inspect impeller.
Repair or replace as required.
Tighten pulley hardware.
Replace the impeller.
Remove material from blower.
Remove material from chopper.
Remove material from brush.
Keep moving.
Raise pick-up head.
Compartment full. Empty it.
Chopper blades dull. Replace or
sharpen blades.
