. ATTACHING/UNHOOKING
The Leaf and Debris Collector should always be
located on a level, dry area that is free of debris
and other foreign objects. When attaching the
machine to a power unit, follow this procedure:
1. Clear the area of bystanders,
especially small children.
2. Make sure there is enough
room and clearance to safely
back up to the machine.
3. While backing up, align the
hitch with the drawbar.
4. Stop tractor, set park brake,
remove ignition key and wait
for all moving parts to stop
before dismounting.
5. Use a drawbar pin with provi-
sions for a mechanical retain-
er. Install the retainer.
NOTE
The machine is sup-
plied with 2 clevises
to allow it to connect
to an ATV or a tractor.
Mount the clevis to the
hitch appropriate for the
power unit.
6. Attach the safety chain
around the drawbar cage to
prevent unexpected separa-
tion.
7. Raise jack.
8. Pull anchor pin on jack, turn
jack to parallel to hitch and
repin.
