FIELD OPERATION

Please remember it is important that you
read and heed the safety signs on the Leaf
and Debris Collector. Clean or replace all
safety signs if they cannot be clearly read
and understood.
If a safety shield or guard is removed for
any reason, it must be replaced before the
machine is again operated.
Always use two people to handle heavy, un-
wieldy components during assembly, installa-
tion, removal or moving.
Place all controls in neutral, stop engine,
set park brake, remove ignition key and wait
for all moving parts to stop before servicing,
adjusting, repairing or unplugging.
Do not allow riders on the machine or tractor
at any time. There is no safe place for any
riders.
Do not allow anyone who is not familiar with
the safety rules and operation instructions to
use this machine.
Although the Leaf and Debris Collector is easy
to use, each operator should review this section
to familiarize himself with the detailed safety and
operating procedures. When using the machine,
follow this procedure:
1. Clear the area of bystanders, especially small
children.
2. Review and follow the Pre-Operation Check-
list (see Section 5.4).
3. Attach the machine to the tractor (see Section
5.6). Be sure the hitch length is set to provide
clearance between the frame and tire.
