16. Slopes:
The machine can have a high center of grav-
ity that can lead to tipping on slopes or hills.
It is recommended that the machine always
be operated up or down slopes rather than
across. On steep slopes with a machine that
is almost full, it is recommended that addi-
tional loading be done when driving down the
hill. Do not risk getting stuck or tipping over.
17. Turning:
The hitch is designed with 3 different length
positions. Set the hitch length to provide
clearance between the machine frame and
tire on the power unit. Do not allow the tire
to hit the frame when turning.
18. Chopper:
The duct between
the blower and the
debris compartment
is designed to accept
a chopper for cutting
debris into smaller
pieces.
It can be
installed at the fac-
tory or after it has
been used.
Check
frequently for entan-
gled material and be
sure the blades are
sharp.
