Offset Temperature Adjustment–both ovens

This function is outside the other User Settings. Under most circumstances, the user should not need to
access the Offset Temperature Adjustment.
Note: Temperature Offset entered is not applied to the Self-Clean setting.
To access offset temp adjust:
1. Press "CLEAR/SETTINGS" and hold three seconds to activate. You will see ˚F (or ˚C).
2. You can be in any User Setting mode to access offset.
3. Press and hold "CLEAR/SETTINGS" and "OVEN TEMP" for five seconds to enter.
4. Toggle left/right to get to desired setting (OFFSET). You will see OFFSET 1.
Note: If you are working on a VDSC548T, OFFSET 1 is for the right oven cavity. OFFSET 2 is for the left
oven cavity.
5. Press "SELECTOR KNOB" and TEMP will flash. Toggle up/down as desired (-30˚F to 30˚F; 5˚F increments).
Press "SELECTOR KNOB" to accept. Value stops flashing.
Important Note: Before changing the adjustments, make sure that a proper temperature test is performed,
using a loaded temp probe, before adjusting the offsets. Failure to do so can result in improper oven
temperatures. Use Viking Temperature Probe Kit part # G50012698 for accurate readings (see Bulletin
2005-37P).
Once you have determined what the temperature is off by, push in the "SELECTOR KNOB". The display will
show 0°F (default) and will begin to flash.
Example: If the oven was 30° too low, toggle the "SELECTOR KNOB" (clockwise) to adjust the display to
read +30°F. Now push in on the "SELECTOR KNOB". The +30°F will stop flashing. Depress the "CLEAR/
SETTINGS" button and you have now calibrated the oven 30° higher.
Toggle the knob counterclockwise to lower the temperature if you found the temperature to be too high.
Adjusting The Offset
Access the Offset Adjust program. The Default will show the following:
