Software version query (VER)
A software version query can be sent to the idOil-30 3G and idOil-30 Battery 3G units in a
text message. The version information helps Labkotec Oy's maintenance department to
resolve any possible problems.
Send the following text message to the idOil unit:
The unit's response contains the device name (if set) and the software version:
Example
"Pirkkala Myllyhaantie" has been set as the device name and the software version is 1.00.
When the command
is entered, the response is:
VER
VER <device name> <x.xx>
VER
VER Pirkkala Myllyhaantie 1.00
