OPERATING FAULTS

These few pages should enable you to " get over " any operating problem you
may have on your scissor lift.
If a problem arises which is not covered in this chapter or which is not resolved
by the solutions appearing below, it will be necessary to consult qualified
technical personnel before proceeding with any maintenance operation. It is also
necessary to note that most of the problems encountered on the machine will
come mainly from the electrical and hydraulic systems.
Before anything else, check that :
• The batteries are charged. If they are the green leds are on.
• The two mushroom-headed emergency stop switches on the chassis control
box and on the platform control box are unlocked.
NOTE :
Cavitation (emulsified oil) can lead to incorrect operation of hydraulic
components. It takes about 4 hours for oil emulsified by cavitation ef-
fect to return to normal.
VERIFICATION
Check
whether
the
movements
are
done
when the lifting selector
switch on the chassis
control box is operated.
PROBABLE CAUSE
• Control switch is not
working.
• Manipulator is not wor-
king.
• Lack of oil in the hydrau-
lic circuit
• Load too great on the
platform (personnel or
equipment)
• Lack of oil in the hydrau-
lic circuit.
• Batteries discharged
more than 80%, the mo-
nitor cuts up lifting.
• Load too great on the
platform (personnel or
equipment).
• Lack of oil in the hydrau-
lic circuit.
SOLUTION
• Replace the switch (Af-
ter-Sales Department)._
Replace the manipulator
(After-Sales Depart-
ment)
• Top up with oil as ne-
cessary.
• Top up with oil as ne-

• Reduce the load.

• Recharge the batteries
