Heart rate controlled programme - Heart programme 1 & 2
These programmes are heart rate controlled exercise programmes.
The user specifies a target heart rate. This is continuously compared with the actual heart rate of the user from
the cockpit. If the actual heart rate is slower than the target heart rate, the treadmill automatically increases
the speed. If the value is faster, the treadmill automatically reduces the speed. The main requirement for these
programmes is a permanent, accurate transmission of heart rate values. For this reason, these programmes
can only be done using an uncoded heart rate chest belt. This is available as an accessory. Using these pro-
grammes with the hand pulse sensors is not possible. Please also read the chapters " Heart Rate Monitoring
using a Chest Belt " and " Warning about Pulse & Heart Rate Monitors " in this manual.
Step 1: Programme selection.
Turn on the treadmill and press the PROG button until the desired "heart program 1" or "heart program 2 "is
displayed in the TFT display.
The two programmes differ in the maximum speed, for "heart program 1" this is 10,0km / h and for "heart pro-
gram 2" it is 12,0km / h.
Step 2: Specification of the training time
The value for training time is highlighted in blue. Enter the desired exercise time from 05:00 to 139: 00 minutes
by pressing the
SPEED or incline INCLINE buttons.
Confirm your entry by pressing the MODE button.
Step 3: Age specification
The value for age is highlighted in blue. Enter the user age by pressing the
buttons for (SPEED) or incline
Confirm your entry by pressing the MODE button.
Step 4: Target pulse specification
The target heart rate calculated by the cockpit is highlighted in blue.
This is 60% of the maximum heart rate. If you want to train with the calculated value, continue to Step 5.
If you want to train with an individual target heart rate, enter it by pressing
SPEED) or incline buttons.

Step 5: Training start
Press the START button. The display starts a countdown the training time begins after completion of the count-
ENG
down and the treadmill starts automatically at a speed of 3km / h.
End of training
The treadmill stops automatically after the specified training time has elapsed.
If the current heart rate is still lower than the target heart rate when the maximum speed set for the programme
has been reached, the treadmill automatically increases the incline.
