② If a packing case is not used, take water-proof protection and prevent the goods from collision and

overturn of the equipment during transport.

③ If a packing case is used, fix the complete machine and accessories securely in the case and leave

certain clearances away from the boards of the packing case, so as to avoid collision and damage in

transport. If the height is in excess of the standard, use partial packing in sections.

④ During transportation, protect machine body from overturn, heavy loads or collision.

⑤ The equipment can be packed in a container for transportation.

(3)Inspection

①When the machine arrives at the destination, unpack it and check careful if there is any sign like

collision or rubbing by the transportation.

②Check the documents and accessories against the packing list, and take a record well.

(4)Storage

①If the machine equipment is to be stored in an open air, the facilities for prevention of rain, sunshine and

water accumulation should be available. When the machine equipment is to be stored indoors, make

storage facilities well ventilated and damp proof.

② Store the equipment in ventilated, dry and cool place for long-time storage with damp proof measures.

Cover the exposed surfaces without painting with rust-proof oil.

4.2 Equipment installation

The machine is generally delivered as a complete set. First check if there is any damage during

transportation when unpacking. Before installation, check against the installation dimensions in scaled

drawing of SJPS215B Extruder for enough space on jobsite, especially enough space for operation,

maintenance, and parts replacement. Refer to Fig.4-6 for the space requirements.

To ensure smooth operation, the foundation for extruder installation shall be solid and level. For the

load calculation on the foundation, see Table4-1 Weight of the extruder. Meanwhile, bin weight and

material weight above the feeder as well as live loads of entire set shall be considered in the calculation.

Connect the extruder base to the foundation by expansion screws or pre-embedded anchor bolts

(see Fig.4-5). The specification of the bolts or screws should be M20 or larger in quantity of sixteen.

Installation positions for bolts refer to Fig.4-6, where 10×Φ22mm and 6×Φ26mm holes are for

connections between base and foundation.
