Advantages of conditioning treatment:
(1)Promotion of production capacity
Since materials are partly cooked by the steam, the mechanical energy required to warm up the products
to the maximum temperature is much less. Therefore, its production capacity is much higher than that of a
dry-type in terms of a given power to the equipment.
(2)Good forming performance
Because steam and water is applied in the process, the feed mash for extrusion is of high moisture
content offering good forming performance with good finished product quality.
(3)Low wearing of extruder parts
The ripen materials with advantageous corresponding temperature and curing degree do not require the
cooking process at high pressure or frictional force in the extruder barrels. In addition, high moisture can
play a part in lubrication. Such benefits can greatly reduce the fretting wear, thus to increase the service
life of the barrels and screw heads.
(4)Widened production scope
Improved physical properties of feed mash provided by the cooking process allow the extruder to make
more extensive products.
[Note]
 The angles of all paddles of the conditioner have been adjusted to the proper positions
according to the properties of the normal materials. Therefore, unauthorized adjustment is not
recommended for common materials.
