Test equipment for customer service

1 siphon, water gauge 100 cm, inside diameter max. 8 mm
1 flow meter (variable-area type), measuring range 1.0 l/min.
to 10 l/min., measuring medium air, 20 °C, 1 bar absolute
1 absolute-pressure sensor (barometer) or adjusting barometer
set to absolute pressure. Measuring accuracy 5 Hpa (5 mbar)
1 gas-wash bottle (bead bottle)
1 digital multimeter (DMM)
1 oscilloscope, sensitivity 5mV/cm
1 thermometer with surface probe
1 P100 or P200 or P140 for engine-speed measurement
1 DC calibrator, 0 to 15 mV
1 data terminal (pocket keypad)
1 measured-value printer (integrated or connected externally via
serial interface)
Viton hose to test-gas connection (do not use any other type of
hose material)
Compressed air for cleaning test-gas probe and hose

*) The exhaust-gas analyzer is fine-tuned regularly with propane
(instead of hexane) for practical reasons. During fine-tuning,
the exhaust-gas analyzer is informed of the concentration of the
test gas in "ppm propane". The exhaust-gas analyzer auto-
matically takes account of the necessary "propane factor".
