A water pipe may be placed on the warm air duct only if there
is a gap of at least 1.5 m to the heater.
The Truma E-Kit must not be used to heat driver or passenger
compartments of motor vehicles.
The Truma E-Kit must be installed so that it is easily accessi-
ble at all times for servicing and can be easily removed and
re-installed.
Install the Truma E-Kit so that there is a gap of at least 6 mm
all round to furniture or parts of the vehicle.
Do not block the warm air outlets of the Truma E-Kit. It must
be possible for warm air to blow out freely for at least 30 cm.
Depending on the installation situation, additional space may
be required for connections (warm and circulation air ducts).
The Truma E-Kit must be installed so that the driver and pas-
sengers cannot come into contact with the appliance under
normal driving conditions.
The functions of parts of the vehicle that are important for op-
eration must not be adversely affected.
The Truma E-Kit may not be installed directly beneath a wall
power point.
To ensure that components inside the appliance are not dam-
aged, do not fix cables or water pipes to the housing of the
appliance.
Check whether the vehicle has a load-bearing floor or an
access or intermediate floor to fix the heater – if this is un-
suitable, create a load-bearing surface beforehand (e.g. glue
a sheet of plywood on to the floor). The same requirements
must be observed for mounting on a wall.
The Truma E-Kit may be installed in the vehicle only with the
supplied mounting bracket.
