Firmware update with MMC

To update the firmware, proceed as follows:

programming device (w 4 MB).
Deenergize the IM 151-7 CPU and
insert the MMC with the FW
update
Switch the power on
Deenergize the IM 151-7 CPU and
remove the MMC with the FW
update
Switch on the power supply again.
Action by the IM 151-7 CPU

The IM 151-7 CPU automatically
detects the MMC with the FW
update and starts the FW update.
All LEDs light up during the FW
update.
The STOP LED flashes after the
FW update has been completed.
In this way, the IM 151-7 CPU
requests a memory reset.

automatic memory reset and is
then ready for operation.
