Connecting the PTO
• Adjust the sprayer's tongue and the trac-
tor's drawbar so that there is an overlap
of approximately 2 in when the tractor
is making a sharp turn (that is, when the
tractor's tire is touching the sprayer's
frame head).
Adjusting the PTO shaft length
Before cutting the PTO shaft, check if it is pos-
sible to use it without reducing its length.
Check:
• The position on the tractor's drawbar (A).
• If the sprayer's tongue (B) can be adjust-
ed for longer.

Only operate with PTO shaft
equipped with protection guards.
Always use the recommended
individual protective clothing for
the maintenance of the PTO shaft.
