Apply Effects

Blackbox has two effects that can be applied to as many pads as you want. You apply an effect by routing a pad to the
desired effect (FX1 or FX2) and then configuring the parameters for that effect. After the effect is applied, the wet signal is
routed to Audio Out 1.
To Route a Pad to an Effect:
1.
On the Pads screen, select the pad you want to work with and then push INFO
twice to display the first parameters screen.
2.
Touch the output selector button to the left of the grid icon at the top of the screen.
Blackbox will display a list of output options.
3.
Touch FX1 for delay or FX2 for reverb to route the pad to the desired effect.
Note:
You can only apply one effect to each pad.
To Modify Effect Parameters:
1.
Push the FX button to display the FX screen.
2.
Touch one of the effects along either side of the screen to select it. The currently
selected effect and all pads that are sending signals to this effect are highlighted
pink.
3.
Push INFO to display the effects parameters screen for the selected effect. Push
INFO again to toggle through multiple pages of parameters if available.
4.
Turn the knobs to adjust the effect parameters. You will hear the impact of the
parameter changes in real time. Here are the available effect parameters:
