Setting the duration before the door
alarm
sounds
The appliance has a door alarm. If a
door is open for a longer period of time
an alarm will sound (if this has not been
switched off; see "Setting the volume /
Switching off alarms and audible
tones") and
will light up in the dis-
play (see "Temperature and door alarm
- Door alarm").
You can set the duration before the
door alarm
sounds with the seg-
ment bar:
The duration can be set in 30 second
increments, starting with 30 seconds
(Level 1 = 1 filled-in segment) to a max-
imum of 3 minutes 30 seconds (Level 7
= 7 filled-in segments).
Selecting further settings
Miele@home system settings
Only visible if an XKS3100W commu-
nication stick is fitted.
You can use this option to sign your ap-
pliance onto an existing Miele@home
network or create a Miele@home net-
work with your refrigeration appliance.
Make sure that you have sufficient
signal strength for your WiFi network
where the appliance is installed.
There are a number of ways of con-
necting your refrigeration appliance to
your WiFi network. You can also use
the Miele@mobile app. You must,
however, first create a direct link to
your mobile device (see " = Soft
access point").

connect to your network.
Download the Miele@mobile app
from one of the App stores.
Follow the instructions in the app.
