Dubbing only desired scenes

Digital program editing
(Dubbing a tape)
Make sure your camcorder and the VCR are
connected, and that the VCR is set to recording
pause. When you use an i.LINK cable (DV
connecting cable) the following procedure is not
necessary.
When you use a digital video camera recorder,
set its power switch to VCR/VTR.
(1) Select VIDEO EDIT in
settings. Then press START.
(2) Press EXEC.
Search for the beginning of the first
programme, then start dubbing.
The "SEARCH" indicator appears during
search, and the "EDITING" indicator appears
during edit on the LCD screen.
The programme mark changes to light blue
after the dubbing is complete.
When the dubbing ends, your camcorder and
the VCR automatically stop.
To stop dubbing during editing
Press CANCEL.
To finish the Digital program editing
function
Your camcorder stops when the dubbing is
complete. Then the display returns to VIDEO
EDIT in the menu settings.
Press END to end the video edit function.
You cannot record on the VCR when:
– The tape has run out.
– The write-protect tab on the cassette is set to
lock.
– The IR SETUP code is not correct. (When IR is
selected.)
– The button to cancel recording pause is not
correct. (When IR is selected.)
– The programme to operate the Digital program
editing has not been made.
– i.LINK is selected but an i.LINK cable (DV
connecting cable) is not connected.
– The power of the connected VCR is not turned
on.

Procedure 2: Een programma op
digitale wijze overnemen
(Digitale programmamontage)
Zorg dat uw camcorder en de videorecorder
goed zijn aangesloten en dat de videorecorder in
de opnamepauzestand staat. Bij aansluiting met
een i.LINK snoer (DV aansluitsnoer) hoeft u de
hoeft u de volgende procedure niet te verrichten.
Als u kopieert naar een andere digitale
videocamera/recorder, zet dan de
functiekeuze-schakelaar daarvan in de "VCR/
VTR" stand.
(1) Stel in op VIDEO EDIT onder
instelmenu. Druk nu op de START toets.
(2) Druk op de EXEC toets.
Zoek het beginpunt van de eerste over te
nemen scène op en begin daar met kopiëren.
Tijdens het zoeken licht de aanduiding
"SEARCH" op en tijdens het kopiëren
verschijnt de aanduiding "EDITING" op het
LCD scherm.
Elke scènemarkering wordt lichtblauw nadat
de scène is overgekopieerd.
Na afloop van het kopiëren zullen uw
camcorder en de videorecorder beide
automatisch stoppen.
Stoppen met kopiëren tijdens het
montageproces
Druk op de CANCEL toets.
Uitschakelen van de Digitale
programmamontage
Uw camcorder stopt automatisch wanneer het
kopiëren is voltooid. Dan verschijnt op het
scherm weer het VIDEO EDIT submenu.
Druk op de END toets om de
videomontagefunctie uit te schakelen.
Opnemen met de videorecorder is niet
mogelijk als:
– Het einde van de band bereikt is.
– Het wispreventienokje in de blokkeerstand is
geschoven.
– De IR SETUP afstandsbedieningscode niet juist
is gekozen. (Als u hebt ingesteld op "IR"
signaaloverdracht.)
– De toets voor het uitschakelen van de
pauzestand niet juist is gekozen.
– Er geen programma van over te nemen scènes
voor de Digitale programmamontage is
samengesteld.
– Er is ingesteld op "i.LINK" signaaloverdracht
maar er geen i.LINK snoer (DV aansluitsnoer)
is aangesloten.
– De aangesloten videorecorder niet is
ingeschakeld.
