Using the spot light-
metering mode
– Flexible Spot Meter
You can take a picture with the appropriate
exposure automatically for just the point you
want to focus on and with its exposure fixed. Use
the Flexible Spot Meter mode in the following
cases:
– The subject is backlit.
– When there is strong contrast between the
subject and background such as with a subject
that is on stage and lighted by a spotlight.
(1) In CAMERA or MEMORY (DCR-PC9E only)
mode, press FN to display PAGE1.
(2) Press SPOT METER. The SPOT METER screen
appears.
(3) Press the desired area in the frame on the
LCD screen.
The SPOT METER indicator flashes on the
LCD screen. The exposure of the point you
selected is adjusted.
(4) Press OK to return to PAGE1.

Press EXIT.
To return to the automatic exposure
mode
Press AUTO to return to PAGE1.

Preciese belichting op het
aangewezen punt – SPOT
METER keuzescherm
U kunt bij het opnemen kiezen welk punt het
belangrijkste is, om dat optimaal te belichten.
Deze spotmeter-belichtingsfunctie kan
bijvoorbeeld nuttig zijn:
– Voor een onderwerp met tegenlicht
– Bij sterk contrast tussen uw onderwerp en de
achtergrond, zoals iemand onder een spotlight
op toneel e.d.
(1) Zet de camcorder in de "CAMERA" of
"MEMORY" stand (alleen voor de DCR-
PC9E) en druk op de FN toets om het PAGE1
scherm te laten verschijnen.
(2) Druk op de SPOT METER toets. Nu verschijnt
het SPOT METER keuzescherm.
(3) Raak het gewenste punt binnen het kader op
het LCD scherm aan.
De SPOT METER indicator gaat knipperen
op het LCD scherm. Is de belichting optimaal
ingesteld voor het door u aangewezen punt.
(4) Druk op de
naar het PAGE1 scherm.
