4.3.1 Power-up the drive
Start Connect, and on the 'Project Management' screen select 'Scan serial RTU network' (M751 only
when connected to the drive communication port or all variants when connecting via the KI-Compact
485 Adaptor), 'Scan Ethernet network' (M750 only or M753 when using Ethernet over EtherCAT
protocol) or 'Scan all connected drives'. This example uses the 'Scan serial RTU network' option.
Select the discovered drive.
1. Select the 'Online' icon to connect with the drive. When a successful connection is made the
icon will be highlighted blue.
2. Select 'Set mode and region'.
If the required control mode is highlighted in the 'Drive Settings' dialog, then:
• Change the supply frequency, if required and select 'Apply', otherwise select 'Cancel'.
