2.3 Product Properties

Hazards of persons due to improper

• Use the device for its intended use
only.
• Never use the device for aspiration
in the low vacuum range (e.g. for
thorax drainage).

• Do not drop the device.
• Do not use the device in case of
apparent housing damage.
The ASSKEA secretion aspirators MPlus-
series are especially handy, battery powered
aspiration devices for mobile use.
The ASSKEA secretion aspirators MPlus-
series comprise the ASSKEA secretion
aspirator M20 and the ASSKEA secretion
Plus
aspirator M30 . The devices vary in

their flow rate. The ASSKEA secretion
aspirator M20 Plus has a flow rate of approx.
22 l/min and the ASSKEA secretion aspirator
M30 Plus has a flow rate of approx. 30 l/min
(see chapter 7 'Technical Data').
The ASSKEA secretion aspirators MPlus-
series are operated via the internal battery
or via the supplied power supply unit, that
also can be used to recharge the battery. A
membrane pump serves to generate the
desired vacuum for the ASSKEA secretion
aspirator M30 and a piston pump for the

ASSKEA secretion aspirator M20
After 40 minutes of operation, the device
automatically switches off to prevent over-
heating. The device should be left switched
off for a minimum of 10 minutes to ensure
sufficient cooling of the device. However, in
cases of emergency, it is possible to switch
on the device again directly.
