Hold - hold/resume calls,
Redial - redial the last dialed number,
Transfer - transfer the current call,
Speaker - switch audio between the handset and the speakerphone.
It is worth noting that if you attach a headset to your physical phone, your workflow will
N
be sped up even more. The headset combined with the KSPanel, essentially detaches
you completely from your physical phone as there is no need to reach for the handset at
all or use the speakerphone. Management of calls is done by the KSPanel, and the voice
transfer is done via the attached headset.

Manually dial a number

Keypad section has a functional number keys which can be used to dial either local extensions
on the system or remote numbers through system lines.
The procedure is the same as on the physical phone, only difference is that the call will
go through the speakerphone if you are not using the handset or headset. You also can use all
the possible ways to make an outbound call, as you would on a physical phone.

Other functions

Keypad and display screen buttons combined, offer all of the functionality that can be
achieved with a physical Yealink phone. You can listen to the call recordings for your
phone/extension, pick up calls from lines, making outbound calls, checking voicemails, barge
in the calls, etc.
As previously noted, the difference is only whether the user will use the speakerphone
and integrated microphone, or will further ease the usage by utilizing a headset supported by
the phone.
