The downside of standard edition and line BLFs is that when you press a line BLF, you
N
still have to reach for your physical phone to dial the number for outbound call.
4.2.4

Making outbound calls

To go alleviate the issue that standard edition has, please switch to professional edition
which allows you to make outbound calls without a need to reach for the physical phone.
This is possible due to more features that the professional edition supports, which manifest
themselves through three component user interface:

Display screen,

Keypad,
Sidecar.
To make an outbound call, press the line key on the display screen, and then dial the number
on the keypad part of the application. Same as you would do on the physical phone.
4.2.5
Display screen
Display screen is located in top left quarter of the application interface. Its look is very
similar to the display of the Yealink phones with physical BLF keys. It contains ten BLF
keys with Line status, Intercom, and extension on the system. Last vertical BLF key is used
to go through pages of users on the system.
