4.2 Usage and features
Due to the technical implementation, the extensions on the system shown on the sidecar,
start again from the first one and continue to show up to 26 extensions from the system.
The status LED in the top right corner blinks according to the status LED on the physical
device.
It also contains five action keys located below the display that are used for various
functions, which depends on the current status of the phone.

Do Not Disturb

While idle, the display screen's action keys will show only DND feature, which can be used
to set your DND phone status on or off.
4.2.7

Active call functions

If you are receiving a call, action keys on the display screen will allow you to either answer
the call or reject it whatsoever.
If you are already on a call, the action keys will offer three functionalities:
Transfer the call to another extension or even remote number (dialing through line
BLFs),
Put the active call on Hold, or sending the call back to the line from which you picked
it up,
End the active call.
4.2.8

Keypad section

Keypad is located in the lower left quarter of the application interface and it contains all
the buttons needed for the telephony features one might use. Buttons used to configure the
physical phone are not included of course.
The keypad section of the application consists of a standard numeric keypad, volume
control buttons and seven action buttons:
Headset - switch the audio to the headset if it is connected to the physical device,
Mute - mute/unmute the call,
Message - dial into the extension's voicemail,
