Pull the RELEASE lever to open the top cover.
Note
Do not open the top cover while the printer is operating. Doing so may cause the
printer to malfunction.

Place the holder cover on the ribbon holder.
Align the holder cover and the ribbon holder with the FREE position, and slide
the ribbon holder to the left to the LOCK position.

Lift the holder cover to remove the ribbon holder.
