Adding Memory
Before installing the memory expansion option, be sure to turn off the printer.
The added memory should be recognized automatically.
Refer to "Confirming Internal Printer Configuration" (page 35) to confirm that the
added memory has been recognized.

Note
Pulling the Control Unit too hard or too far could cause damage.

Power off the printer.
Remove the screws indicated by the arrows below on the rear of the printer.
Do not remove screws not indicated by arrows.
Slowly pull the Control Unit out about 10 cm (4 inch).
Install the memory expansion option in the memory slot.
Insert the memory from the top, and affix it with the latches at both side of the
slot.
