Place a new ribbon in the ribbon holder, with the ring set to the position
illustrated.
Note
Do not touch the memory contacts inside the ring.

Turn the ribbon in the direction of the arrow to remove any slack.
Printing with a loose ribbon may damage the ribbon or degrade printing.

Close the top cover.
