Open the cover and clean the inside of the printer regularly, including the space
around the chuck drum and the thermal head. Close the cover after cleaning.
Cleaning is recommended each time you change the ribbon.
Notes
• Do not clean immediately after printing, as some internal parts are very hot at
that time.
• Do not touch the chuck drum or the thermal head with bare hands.
• Do not spill alcohol inside the printer.
Cleaning the Chuck Drum

After the "PLEASE CLEAN" message appears, open the top cover and remove
the ribbon holder.

Apply ethanol to the tip of the chuck cleaner supplied with the ribbon, and
clean the space behind the chuck drum.
