Chapter 5 The Tablet Controller
The Tablet Controller provides a simple, easy to use interface for configuring, controlling and monitoring LDC401
series cleavers.
A status bar at the top of the screen indicates the machine connected, the file currently open (if any) and status
icons for file, access security and USB connection.
At the bottom of the screen, a toolbar provides access to Tablet Controller settings, cleave files, LDC401 specific
tools and fast security log-out.
Features of the Tablet Controller include:

User Password setup,

User accessibility control to safeguard against accidental changes to parameters and user files,

Language selection,

Voice notification,

USB communications setup,

Almost unlimited file storage and access with optional over-write protection,

Fast security log-out,

Easy parameter viewing/editing
Tool features specific to LDC401 series cleavers include:

Motor control screens for manipulating Fiber Holding Block (FHB), Blade, and Rotation,

Auto-Parameter screen, generates theoretical optimal parameters according to fiber/cleave angle,

Blade Service screen for setting up blade position and usage counters,

Insert Selection tool for choosing the optimum Insert combination,

Terminal Client
