Disassembly

To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a 10,000 ohm resistor before attempting
to service. Ensure all earthing wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.

Doors

Freezer and Refrigerator Doors

1. Remove top hinge.
2. Lift freezer door off center hinge.
3. Using wood blocks, brace door open at 45° angle
and remove center hinge pin.
4. Lift refrigerator door off bottom hinge.
5. Remove center hinge plate by removing three
phillips screws.

Door stops

1. Remove refrigerator door.
2. After turning refrigerator door bottom side up,
remove two screws holding door stop.

Door Handles

1. Remove end caps by prying up with a screwdriver
blade covered with masking tape.

2. Remove three screws mounting handles to door.

Door Gasket

1. Loosen screws under gasket around inner door
perimeter.
2. Gently pull gasket from between inner door
assembly and outer door.

Inner Door

1. Remove screws under gasket around inner door
perimeter.
2. Gently pull and lift inner door assembly from outer
door.

Cabinet Components

Refrigerator Control Housing

1. Pull off exterior cabinet moisture slide control
switch knob.
2. Remove two phillips screws mounting front of
control housing panel.
3. Remove two phillips hex head screws hidden
inside the standoff in back of control housing
panel.
4. Move temperature controls toward center of
housing. This prevents the racks from keeping
control housing from being lowered into position.
5. Lower control housing down, carefully pulling
freezer capillary control from hole in divider block.
6. Disconnect six-pin connector and other wire leads.

Refrigerator Damper Control

A
1. After removing control housing pull capillary tube
through housing.
2. Unclip damper assembly from two posts and slide

up and off.

1. After removing control housing, unclip and lift
control from mounting post.
2. Remove gasket material and electrical wiring tape
securing capillary to control housing. Unclip
