2-2 Basic Operations

Note: When the hand is off-hook, the handset indicator light will be lit on
the base station.

Note: When the handset is off-hook, an audio tone can be heard from the
earpiece. If the phone is located in an area without adequate signal strength
no tone will be present.

Note: When a phone call is unsuccessful due to inadequate signal strength
or network related problems a warning tone ("pi-pi-pi") will be heard in the
earpiece of the handset.

Note: The call timer is for reference only and should not be used in
calculating the cost of a call.

Note: After you finish a call, return the handset to the cradle on the base
station.

2.1.1 Making IP Calls

Prior to making an IP, 200, 300 call using the
number and password have been entered into the memory of the phone.
4. To end a call or cancel the call attempt, hang up the handset. The
LCD on the phone will displayed the date and time as shown in
the figure below.
