Note: If the alarm has been turned ON, the alarm icon
figure below will be displayed on the LCD.

Note: The default alarm setting is "OFF".

3.5.1 When the alarm sounds...

1. When the timer expires the alert tone will sound for up to 30 seconds
2. Press any key to stop the alarm or remove the handset from the base

Note: If the handset is off-hook and the timer expires the alarm will not
sound until 10 to 30 seconds after the handset has been returned to the
cradle in the base station.

Note: If you are changing phone settings and the timer expires the alarm
will sound. Pressing any key or removing the handset from the cradle in the
base station can stop the alarm.

Note: The alerting tone and volume level are set at the factory and cannot
be changed.
5. To exit and return to standby mode press
If you do not press any keys for 15 seconds the phone
automatically returns to stand-by mode.
