valid.
OVSDB services include OVSDB server, and VTEP service. While enabling OVSDB
services, system starts OVSDB server, and VTEP service. And initialize server
connection method, also physical switch, and physical port table of VTEP schema. It
will take a few seconds. VTEP service monitors and converts configuration of VTEP
schema in OVSDB server into switch's VXLAN component.
The switch in hardware VTEP mode, all physical and trunk port are available for
OVSDB management.
The switch must configure default VTEP source IP address for OVSDB management.
Network manager can configure hardware VTEP through OVSDB client application
or switch CLI interface.

3.1.1.5.1. Schema Format

Hardware_vtep database schema
DCVPN switch which support OVSDB hardware_vtep database schema can be
managed by network virtualization controller using OVSDB protocol.
The Hardware_vtep database schema designs according to OVSDB protocol.
Management through OVSDB hardware_vtep database, the controller can have
clear relationship of mapping physical to logical switch.
Table relationships
The following diagram shows the relationship among supported tables in the
database.
Tables that are part of the ''root set'' are shown with double borders. Each edge
leads from the table that contains it and maps to the table that its value represents.
Edges are labeled with their column names, followed by a constraint on the
number of allowed values: ? for zero or one, * for zero or more. + for one or more.
