Establish a Bluetooth

connection with configured WS103

The WS103 default configuration allows immediate pairing with the laptop without the need to change a
single line of code. Pairing with the laptop enables:

Software upload and download
•
Diagnostics
•
Data logging
•
Parameter setup
®
Built-in Bluetooth on laptop and PLUS+1
Bluetooth ® (on the right)
1. Check Enable in Device Configuration (checked by default).
2. Type in the Device name (WS103_SN by default).
3. Check Discoverable (checked by default).
4. Check Pairable (checked by default).
5. Select Disabled on Security mode Bluetooth
6. Check Allow Bluetooth 2.0 pairing (checked by default).
7. Type in the Pin code (0000 by default)
8. Check Enable on SPP Server (checked by default).
9. Type the service name (SPP_WS103 by default).
10. Select Write data to the device.
11. Disconnect WS Wireless Configurator.
WS103 restarts and will be ready to establish a Bluetooth
®
Service Tool access (on the left); Application and WS103 with
2.1 (checked by default).
