6.2.2 FAST Activation via the HTTP (Web Server) Interface

This appendix shows examples of using the HTTP Interface for the CDD-564AL Satellite Multi-
Channel Demodulator.
6.2.2.1 Record Serial Number
Use the Status | Unit Info page to see the Demod Serial Number. Write the Demod Serial Number here:
6.2.2.2 See the Installed Features
Use either of these pages to see installed features:

Status | Unit Info page
•
Admin | FAST page
Features installed and operational are marked as Installed.
6.2.2.3 Acquire/Enter FAST Option Purchase Access Code
Contact a Comtech EF Data sales representative to order FAST Options. The unit's Serial Number is
required.
The Comtech EF Data sales representative verifies the order. Comtech EF Data Customer Support
provides an invoice and FAST option activation instructions. The instructions include a 20-character
FAST Option Purchase Access Code.
From the Admin | FAST page, FAST code section, enter the FAST Option Purchase Access Code into
the applicable Register field, and then click Submit.
6.2.2.4 Verify FAST Option Availability
If the FAST Option Purchase Access Code is accepted, the page refreshes and the option shows as
Installed.
