Steps to Restore the Factory Default Configuration
You must make sure the unit is in factory default configuration before you continue with the remaining
sections in this chapter. If necessary, do these steps to restore the factory default configuration.
1.
From the Main Menu, type O to go to the Operations and Maintenance submenu.
2.
From the Operations and Maintenance submenu, type D to go to the Database Operations submenu.
3.
From the Database Operations menu, type D to start the Restore Factory Default command.
4.
At this prompt, type Y to confirm and continue:
Are you sure you want to restore factory default settings?
WARNING: Choosing Yes will restore factory defaults and then reboot.
This procedure deletes all user configurations and restores the CDD-56xA/L to its factory default
configuration.
Next, set up the Router Mode configuration. See Section 8.7.
