Editing a stored name and/or phone number

Press the MEM key in the standby mode,
Select Memory
¨

Press the
key, or enter a number (0 - 9) to select
the memory location you would like to
edit, and press the MEM or
SELECT/CH key.

Press the MEM or SELECT/CH key again.
The following screen appears with the
memory location number that you have
selected in the display.

VOL/RING or
Press the
then press the MEM or SELECT/CH key. The following screen appears.
The cursor flashes, indicating that the display is ready for the name
to be edited. When a name has not been
stored, the cursor appears at the beginning
of the second line.

Use the
edit the name. (See page E23.) To edit only the phone number,
skip this step.

Press the MEM or SELECT/CH key. The
following screen appears.
The cursor flashes indicating that the display is ready for the
number to be edited.

Use the
/TONE/
number key to edit the phone number. The phone number
cannot exceed 20 digits. (See page E22.)
If you don´t want to change the phone number, skip this step.
