Editing a stored name and/or phone number

Press the MEM key in standby mode,
Select Memory
¨

Press the
key, or enter a number (0 - 9) to select the
memory location you would like to edit,
and press the MEM or SELECT key.

Press the MEM or SELECT key a second time.
The following screen appears with the
memory location number that you have
selected in the display.

Press the
MemoryXX
¨, then press the MEM or SELECT key. The following
screen appears. The cursor flashes,
indicating that the display is ready for
the name to be edited. When a name
has not been stored, the cursor appears
at the beginning of the second line.

Use the
the name. (See page E21.) To edit only the phone number, skip
this step.

Press the MEM or SELECT key.
The following screen appears.
The cursor flashes indicating that the display is ready for the
number to be edited.

Use the
/TONE/
number key to edit the phone number. The phone number
cannot exceed 20 digits. (See page E20.)
If you don´t want to change the phone number, skip this step.
