television set or receiver.
Disturbance caused by intermedi-
ary devices, e.g. video recorder.
The image format of the receiver is

Some BD/DVDs do not permit
skipping, for example during the
initial warning notice.
The BD/DVD only has one chapter. Alternative: Fast playback.
Speaker wired incorrectly.
Audio settings are not correct.
Incorrect disc audio track select-
ed.
Playback speed has been acceler-
ated or slowed down.
Speaker cable not stripped.
Solution
Insert a CD/DVD/BD.
Insert the disc with the labelled side facing up.
Insert a DVD/BD with a corresponding region
code (2).
Clean or change the disc.
Take out the disc and do not use the device for
one to two hours while activated.
Switch the TV set on.
Select a suitable AV input on the TV set (e.g.
HDMI 1).
Check the settings and change them if neces-
sary (see page 21 Menu "Video setup").
Correct the cable connections.
Replace the connector cable.
Clean or change the disc.
Reset the colour standard (PAL/NTSC) (page
21). PAL is the correct standard in Germany
and Western Europe (except from France).
Connect the devices directly.
Correctly configure the TV aspect ratio (see page
21).
Continue playback.
Check the wiring and correct it.
Correctly configure the speaker settings and
audio mapping (see page 22 and 23).
Select another audio language (page 23 and
39).
Switch to normal playback with the
(31).
Properly connect the speakers (page 13).
