Bluetooth mode
You can connect compatible Bluetooth
as most smartphones with your Impaq 8000 via Blue-
®
tooth . The audio output of your smartphone is then
played back by the Impaq 8000.

The Bluetooth wireless transmission system has a
range of approximately 10 metres that is limited by
walls and furnishings. If the connection is cut off, the
Impaq 8000 will attempt to re-establish a connection
until you select another source.

operating system of the source device.

Bluetooth options
Depending on the device type, your source device/
smartphone may also have a number of Bluetooth
options such as media playback and call function.
Here you can activate and deactivate the desired
options.
You can find more information about the Bluetooth
options in the user manual of your source device/
smartphone.
Pairing
To play the audio of your source device on your
Impaq 8000 via Bluetooth
the devices with each other. This is called " pairing" .
The Impaq 8000 provides manual and automatic
pairing via NFC.
Manual pairing
1. Turn on the Bluetooth
device (e.g. smartphone).
2. Use the button (34) to select the "Bluetooth
input on the Impaq 8000. "BT" will appear on the
display and after a moment "Disconnected".
3. Push the button (34) and hold it for approx. 3 sec-
onds. "Pairing" will appear on the display.
The device is now in pairing mode.
4. Let your source device/smartphone search for

Bluetooth devices. You will find more information
about this in the user manual of your source device.
After the search run, the "Impaq 8000" should also
be present in the list of detected devices.
