1. Access the main menu by pushing the
(27).
2. Carefully insert the BD/DVD/CD with the labelled
side up into the disc slot (2).
The disc will be drawn in.
Depending on the setting and the disc, playback
will automatically start after a few seconds or a
menu will appear (see "File selection" on page
41).
– If you load a BD or DVD, which was already played
and was ejected during play back or after pushing
STOP once, a window will appear where you can
select whether you want to continue from the last
position viewed or from the beginning. If you do not
select anything, the disc will continue from the last
position viewed after a short time.
Notice: This function is not supported by all disc
types.
– If you have inserted a Blu-ray, a notice will briefly
appear on the display that the BD live memory is
being checked, which can be occupied as a memo-
ry slot for other accessible disc information.
However, a Blu-ray can also be played normally
without the BD live memory.
– If the main menu of the Impaq 8000 appears,
select the item "My media" with the navigation but-
tons ◀▶ (25) and push the selector button OK (26).
– Now select the item with the disc symbol " " with
the navigation buttons ▲▼ (25) and push the
selector button OK (26).
You can navigate through the menus of the BD/DVD
with the navigation buttons ▲▼◀▶ (25) and the
selector button OK (26).
Many BD programmes also use the coloured control
buttons A B C D (46).
The playback functions for disc, USB and DLNA are
identical and are described in the section "Playback
functions" on page38.

Ejecting the disc

1. Push the
button (3) or (21). The disc is ejected
to the front.
2. Carefully take the disc out of the slot.
