CAUTION:
Be careful not to touch the Nozzle with the Cleaning Applicator.
Also, be careful not to adhere the wiped solid ink or lint to the Nozzle.
Also, be careful not to keep the nozzle area dry (no cleaning fluid) while cleaning the
side of the print head
All of these can cause the nozzle out.
<② the stepped portion of the Nozzle surface and the Nozzle Cover >
Wipe off any dirt adhering to the stepped portion of the Nozzle surface and the Nozzle
Cover.
* After cleaning ① and ②, if washing the Cleaning Liquid and foam etc. attached to
surplus have adhered to the Head, wipe it off with the dry, cleaning Applicator that does
not contain the Cleaning Liquid. (it is important not to leave wet cleaning fluid on any part
of the head after this manual clean)

Clean the side of the Nozzle Cover with the dry, cleaning Applicator that does not contain
the Cleaning Liquid.
When cleaning the side of the Nozzle Cover, scrape the dirt along the direction of the arrow
in the figure below and clean it.
