To upgrade the tracker FW later, go to Settings, Status and on the Firmware
line you will see UPDATE in blue. Touch UPDATE and the upgrade notification
screen will appear then continue as previously documented.
If you are unable to update the firmware using the phone or are using your
tracker in standalone operation, you can update the firmware using the USB
cable and a PC.
Before upgrading the firmware you must download the firmware upgrade file
and Honeywell Upgrade Tool.
To download the firmware upgrade file and upgrade tool:
1 Go to www.gt.honeywell.com.
2 Click Support, Log into Technical Support Portal. Create an account if
you don't already have one.
3 On the Home page, click Downloads.
4 Select your product from the drop-down list.
5 Download the firmware upgrade file and Honeywell Upgrade Tool.
To install the firmware upgrade tool:
1 Double click the file DownloadTool.exe
To upgrade the GMPT-401 Personal Tracker firmware:
1 Launch the download tool by double clicking the DownloadTool.exe file.
