Status information is shown in two ways:
On the phone in the GMPT-401 App
On the tracker using the LED indicators
Status indicators are shown on the status bar in the GMPT-401 App when the
tracker is connected by Bluetooth to the phone.
Satellite coverage
For additional status information, touch Settings on the bottom of the screen in
the GMPT-401 App and select Status. The Status screen gives detailed
information on when the unit last transmitted and when the next transmission is
expected. It also provides detail on battery charge state and includes the
firmware and application versions.
Note: The Iridium IMEI and Tracker ID will remain blank on the Status screen
until the tracker has registered with ViewPoint. Tracker information will only be
available when the phone is paired to the tracker and is within Bluetooth range.
When in standalone operation the tracker uses the Network LED and Battery
LED indicators located on the tracker to show status.

Amber—On for 3 seconds

Red—On for 60 seconds
Red—Flashing slowly

Message sent successfully
Sending message failed.
Alert mode is activated, sending SOS message.
Emergency message successfully sent.
